Apples is an early CSC 317 group project: a playful storefront for apple-themed products. The site explored how a catalog can move visitors from a category overview to a product page, account form, payment step, and order confirmation without losing the thread of the journey.
Building the whole path
The project includes product-category and item pages for juices, pies, sauces, fritters, candy apples, and accessories, along with an FAQ and dedicated account and checkout pages. Shared navigation, footer, and style files gave the individual pages a consistent structure.
My contributions
I built the About page and its navigation, then helped refine the interface with animation, color, gradient, and product-page fixes. That work focused on making the small site feel cohesive as visitors moved between the catalog and supporting information.
An early full-stack experiment
Alongside the static page experience, the repository includes an Express server and MySQL-backed registration and login prototype. It gave our team an early chance to connect a hand-built frontend to server routes and stored user data.
