Research imaging for biochemical assays

At the Esquerra Lab, I contributed to a low-cost imaging system for measuring color change in biochemical samples. The work combined Raspberry Pi hardware, camera and color-sensor modules, and modified 3D-printer motion control to make repeated assay imaging more practical.

Supporting reliable lab workflows

I helped test the system, capture assay images, document its operation, and develop quality-control procedures. The goal was to support methyl halide transferase detection workflows with a repeatable imaging process and clearer technical records.
